Amanda Harper is co-founder and president of Gaeltek, LLC | Technology Solutions in Manassas, Virginia. She oversees business development, strategic planning and marketing responsibilities at Gaeltek, as well as day-to-day management of operations. She co-founded Gaeltek in 2004 and joined the company full-time in 2009. Prior to joining Gaeltek, Amanda served as a Press Officer, Public Affairs Specialist and Information Officer for the US Department of State and the US Department of the Navy.
Amanda is the recipient of numerous United States government awards and honors, including five Honor Awards from the U. S. Department of State; three certificates of appreciation from the U. S. Department of Homeland Security for her commitment and efforts to testing and strengthening the government’s response to cyber attacks; and five performance awards from the U.S. Department of the Navy. Amanda was also named to the 2012 MSPmentor 250 list, which identifies the world’s leading information technology (IT) executives, entrepreneurs, and experts. Amanda holds a B.A. in Political Science from Bridgewater College; her M.P.A. in Public Administration is from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Andrew Harper, a Glasgow, Scotland native, is co-founder and CEO of Gaeltek, LLC, an award winning managed services provider located in Manassas, Virginia. Gaeltek monitors, manages and maintains the network technology of small to mid-sized businesses in the Washington, DC area and is dedicated to providing its clients with cost-effective, state of the art solutions.
Prior to co-founding Gaeltek in 2004, Andrew served over sixteen years as a Weapons Engineer Officer in the Royal Navy. His service included assignments on Her Majesty’s submarines and surface vessels as well as teaching positions, including at Royal Naval Strategic Systems School. His final Navy posting was to the British Embassy in Washington, DC as the Technical Liaison Officer and Head of the Technical Department for Strategic Programs, Royal Navy. Upon completion of his service in the Royal Navy, he joined the British Embassy in Washington, DC as the IT systems manager for the British Council, the international educational and cultural arm of the British Embassy.

David Duff is an experienced IT professional with over 40 years of technical skills and leadership as a project manager, systems engineer, consultant, data administrator, database administrator, systems analyst, systems programmer, and mainframe programmer.
As a Solution Provider for Gaeltek, David plans, installs and maintains clients’ business technology, and also provides the reliable Concierge Desk support they can count on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Dean is our resident English expat. He's a skilled network administrator and Concierge Desk solution provider. He provides support with a smile and a joke - with an accent! Yes, we sometimes ask him to speak English. He hasn't laughed. Yet.
Director of Operations
Jessica joined the Gaeltek team in June 2012. Besides working at Gaeltek, Jessica is competitive pole dancer, a lighting designer for theatre and corporate events, and a mom to her dog, Bear, and two cats, Matrix and Pounce. Jessica is a theatre nerd and was formally an equity stage manager for several professional theatres in the DC area, but has now found passion in IT and loves learning more about it each day.

I am a husband and father. I enjoy working on my old farm house in the country. It has been in the family for years and was built in the 1800's so needs a LOT of work. My favorite movies are action or romantic comedies. Ryan Reynolds is my man crush and I thought he was great in Love Actually and Deadpool. Our pit bull terrier is a wonderful addition to our young family. She protects all of us, but especially loves my daughters.
