Did you buy the new iPhone 4 or upgrade your existing iPhone to iOS4?
iphone-4Are you experiencing sluggish performance or difficulties syncing your contacts, mail, and calendar via ActiveSync?

Some users have noticed that Exchange ActiveSync email, contacts, or calendars do not sync, or sync very slowly after upgrading to iOS4. Additionally, some Microsoft Exchange administrators have noticed that servers are running slowly if they are synchronizing with iPhones running iOS4. These performance issues, which came to light earlier this month, cause heavier than normal loads on servers as well as sync issues with users' email, calendar and contacts. Apple published a workaround on July 1 that should make it easier to synchronize between iOS4 and Exchange ActiveSync as well as increase server performance.

If you use the iPhone4 or upgraded to iOS4, you must install a related Apple configuration patch on your iPhone. The patch, along with installation directions, can be found here:

Developers are looking for a fix to this performance issue. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
